I've been looking for a particular album (LP)for around a year. No joy. In the end I stumbled accross this site on the mudcat, which not only had it, but at a good price and pretty damn quick and efficient, so in case any of you don't know about it, it's at www.collectorsfolk.co.uk

The most amusing thing was, it looked like the package had been opened. Whoever it was must have shoved it back again when they saw it was folk music!!!!   *:-}

I see they sell both books and vinyl. I can resist the vinyl because I don't have a record player, but the books may cost me a lot of money.

I've got a whole cupboard full of songbooks because they sell them at a bookshop locally, and i also trawl the internet. but one of my favourites is a tatty copy of The Christian Choir (Hymns of IR Sankey) which I got for 50p in a charity shop. i was turned onto these hymns by hearing 'Sleep on Beloved' by Waterson/Carthy.

Its worth remarking I've bought a few books from collectorsfolk and they were delivered promptly, no hassles, condition as described, well-wrapped, etc, etc.

Yes..you're a terrible blabbermouth! I got the Purslow books a couple of months ago...all books in good condition and a brilliant service...ordered them on a Friday and got them on the following Monday.....
