The Missouri Folk Lore Scoiety is meeting in Kirksville, MO. on Nov. 8-10. It is a great group of folks, and they have several muscians who put on a program worth coming to see. Cathy Barton & Dave Para, Judy Domeny Bowen; sometimes Bob Dyer is there; Paul and Win Grace often attend. Some of the others who perform are not "pro's", but they do a very good job. Anyone interested in coming and joining in will find lots of people to jam with and a most genial group to join.

If you were just a thousand miles closer, I'd be there in a minute, Jim!

All great people... and worth a considerable drive... love to all from me and the Gospel Messengers..

Jerry

I think Phil Hoebing (from QU) will be there -- say howdy for me. Wish I could go!

Hi, Jerry! Always good to hear from you. Relay my greetings to the Gospel Messengers and Ruth.
Rapaire, I will try and locate Mr. Hoebing and pass on that "Howdy" on your behalf.
The rest of you mudcatters out there---If you live within driving distance of Kirksville, Missouri, and you love good folk music, or if you have an interest in folklore, you cannot do better than join us for a great time. Barton and Para, Domeny, et al are as good as it gets.
