Susanne has them listed, but no link, which usually means she 'thinks' she has them but they may not be complete or correct. She is a member here, so may post what she has...

BlackBeard, I have the CD but not yet taken the words down. Unfortunately they're not in the booklet. Maybe someone else has them, if not I'll try and post them here for you before long.

Hi Sorcha, hi Susanne,

TIA

Small Miracles
(Eric Bogle)

Been marching the days of my life rolling by
Been taking for granted each precious one
but yesterday our sorrows [...]
realised how small the world had become
Sandy´s [...] wrapped tied around her waist
I saw a new world in Rosie´s eyes shine
Heard her laugh with delight and saw the joy in her face
Tried to recall when at last [...]

A miracle´s come both great and small
The smallest can be the greatest of all

Sandys wheel chair flew and break next [...]
Flew fife miles an hour down the drive
Rosie dancend on Sandys knees
Shouting out her joy that being alive
And all of us there on that sunny afternoon
Who watched her small miracle on [...]
Heard the echo in our hearts of creationed joyfull tunes
That sings in each and every human soul

A miracle´s come both great and small
The smallest can be the greatest of all

Been marching the days of my life rolling by
Been taking for granted eych precious one
but yesterday our sorrows they fly
realised how small the world had become
We spend our lives seeing only what we want to see
And never think of ourselves as blind
We spend our lives being to be what others want us to be
But never see ourselves as crippled or contrived

Of all the people e´er that I knew
Rosie was th only one who flew

Of all the people e´er that I knew
Rosie was th only one who flew

'Scuse me, BlackBeard, but I can't remember posting any lyrics anywhere, correct or not! I'll take your version and check it against the CD next weekend, and bring back the result.

nothing to offer, but if you atre interested in Bogle then try George Papavgeris , Bogle respects him as a songwriter.
If you have already please forgive this interuption.

Subject: Lyr Add: SMALL MIRACLES (Eric Bogle)
From: Susanne (skw)

This is what I've worked out. The only word I'm doubtful about is end of line 3, verse 1/3. To rhyme, it would have to be 'fly', but that doesn't really make sense, and I don't seriously expect Eric to use 'flied', so 'fled' is a sort of compromise ...

SMALL MIRACLES
(Eric Bogle)

Been watching the days of my life rolling by
Been taking for granted each precious one
But yesterday our sorrows they fled
Realised how small my world had become
Sandy's arms wrapped tight around her waist
I saw a new world in Rosie's eyes shine
Heard her laugh with delight and saw the joy in her face
Tried to recall when it last shone in mine

The miracles come both great and small
The smallest can be the greatest of all

Sandy's wheelchair flew at breakneck speed
A full five miles an hour down the drive
Rosie danced on Sandy's knees
Shouting out her joy at being alive
And all of us there on that sunny afternoon
Who watched her small miracle unfold
Heard the echo in our hearts of creation's joyful tune
That sings in each and every human soul

Miracles come both great and small
The smallest can be the greatest of all

Been watching the days of my life rolling by
Been taking for granted each precious one
But yesterday our sorrows they fled
Realised how small my world had become
We spend our lives seeing only what we want to see
But never think of ourselves as blind
We start our lives trying to be what others want us to be
Never see ourselves as crippled or confined

But of all the people there that I knew
Rosie was the only one who flew

Of all the people there that I knew
Rosie was the only one who flew

[1997:] Written for Rosie and Sandy - Rosie for her continuing indomitable battle to overcome obstacles that would crush a less courageous spirit, and Sandy for showing what can be achieved. Watching Sandy operate the joystick on her electric wheelchair with one hand, hold down a frantically squirming Rosie with the other, and suck a stubby of beer through a straw at the same time, was to behold an awesome feat of co-ordination. (Eric Bogle, notes 'Small Miracles')

Hi Susanne,

thanks a lot for your interpretation - I think it´s really good to work with :)

Thank you again
BlackBeard

By the way - your website containing piles of lyrics is a good starting point if searching some :)
