What a great talent.

I first heard her when she was still in her teens, in 1970; even then she was an amazing writer and a very moving performer. Certainly more impressive, and much more driven, than anyone else I've ever actually known in person.

I've always found it hard to believe that she didn't make it bigger and earlier. Of course, she doesn't try to appeal to the lowest common denomnator. I'm really glad that she never gave it up (not that she could have if she wanted to), and has finally achieved a modicum of the success she deserves -- since age 40-45 or so.

Hey in her concert at North Carolina she introduced her new boyfriend by snogging him on stage. What a way to go girl but the songs are even better.

AAAAAhhhhhh Lucinda...She Rocks. She is also the artist I listen to when I need a little Rock and Roll to reference the earlier thread on the subject. She sings like a Southern angel.. with beauty, sincerity and stories to tell of a life lived. Happy Birthday lovely one and thanks for writing songs.
