Hi, coming out of lurker mode to give some info about a concert - Billy Novick & Guy Van Duser are performing Friday Jan. 30 at 8 pm. at a coffeehouse held by a local church (in Medford Massachusetts)
I don't know if this is the right venue to announce this; if not, please pardon the gaffe. (The coffeehouse is a local, non-profit venture. (I'm not connected with the church, although I went to a Messiah Sing-In there once, last year.)

Wish I could be there. I heard them back in the 70s in Philadelphia (it was either the Main Point or the Cherry Tree), and loved their music. I remember Guy saying, "We're going to play a tune now called 'Haste to the Wedding.' For a while we were calling it 'Haste to the Relationship,' but now Billy is getting married so we've gone back to the original title. Fast forward about 10 years, and I find out from my sister that Billy is my nephew's soccer coach in Lexington. His daughter and my niece graduated high school this year and are best friends! Small world...say hello for me.

Guy v. D. is absolutely without question the greatest guitarist of all time in the whole world ever (well, one of them anyway).
