But all of those vows we made (will you still remember) Were never to be (when the night is through?) Though we're apart, you're part of me still For you were my thrill on Blueberry Hill |

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: whiskey heaven From: Kaleea Date: 06 Feb 04 - 03:32 AM gee, now I know why "in heaven, there is no beer." It's not really cause "all our friends" on earth "will be drinking all the beer!" It's cause there is whiskey in heaven. Now, my question is this: Since I hate the taste of beer & whiskey, what might I get to drink in Heaven? |

Subject: Lyr Add: WHISKEY HEAVEN From: Jim Dixon Date: 02 Feb 12 - 11:19 AM WHISKEY HEAVEN As sung by Fats Domino on "Blueberry Hill" (2004) Ev'ry afternoon when I wake up, I say a little prayer and drink up, And thank the Lord for drivin' me home once more. There's an open Bible on the table, An' a empty bottle on the floor. Last night I thought I'd died and went to whiskey heaven. CHORUS: You know the sun never shines in whiskey heaven. It rains Jack Daniel's all the time. They're the price you pay: hangovers ev'ry day, Flyin' high with honky-tonk angels in whiskey heaven. There's a run-down bar open all night Where me an' my friends can get tight Underneath those neon lights in whiskey heaven. We drink a little beer and wine, Stay drunk most of the time. We're always raisin' hell all night in whiskey heaven. CHORUS Flyin' high with honky-tonk angels in whiskey heaven, Flyin' high with honky-tonk angels in whiskey heaven. |
