I can't say I'd be sorry to see Kerry's candidacy derailed. The man has flip flopped all over the place. But not this way!!!!!!!!

It has that meaning here too but by inuendo it can have a sexual connotation.

The rumor campaign agains Kerry still
doesn't have legs but right wing shouting heads
on radio are quoting sources that are guaranteed uncheckable
that the father of the girl is shocked and think Kerry is a cad.
