No one is as hateful of any given clan as one of its ex-members, of course. I recommend to such people that they start up a website of their own specifically to attack the clan they used to belong to, and attract other ex-members who have also failed to move on to something new and refreshing to obsess about. For example, this is exactly what disgruntled ex-devotees of Sri Chinmoy have done. I met three of them. They're people with a mission! You can go there and read all about how much they now hate Sri Chinmoy (whom they once idolized) if there isn't enough controversy here to suit you... :-) Are you REALLY, REALLY MAD???? The house rules (if there are any) consist merely of being a normal human being with the normal courtesies that one would use when meeting people face to face. This is a great resource for all kinds of information and knowledge, mostly about music, but about other things as well. Lotsa knowledgeable people pass through here and if you have a question about anything, someone here will at least try to take a whack at it. You have to use your own judgement about whether or not they know what they're talking about, but that's the nature of life. You, of course, have a wealth of knowledge yourself, so you'll undoubtedly be able to answer a lot of other people's questions. Learn what you can, contribute what you can, and generally enjoy associating with a really good bunch of folks. Of course, as in life in 3-D, you'll find the occasional twit, barbarian, or jerk hanging around. Just about every website or forum has them unless it's heavily censored (Max doesn't lock the door, so just about anything can slither in). Sometimes they're even noisier than the more evolved human beings, but you won't have any trouble identifying them and simply writing them off. For example, GUEST,sopoliticallyincorrectthatyouwouldnotbelieve, and a few others. Ignore the hollow, echoing voices from down in the septic tank. Everybody else does. Enjoy!! Don Firth |

But I shut up first. One day I may not. Mudcat encourages people to let their humorous dark sides roam freely, and I'm quite sure it will one day lead to the downfall of society as we know it.
