Can any one help put me in touch with the York bluegrass club. I think that they meet on a Sunday night somewhere in the York area. Thanks in anicipation. Oombanjo.

Hi John - I don't know about a York bluegrass club, but an Old Time/other tunes session meets every Sunday night without fail from about 20.30 in the Golden Ball on Cromwell Street not far from Nunnery Lane and Micklegate. I get there about once a month or so. It's a bit confusing for banjo players, as they tend to change key for most tunes, even when they run a few tunes together - it's very good exercise for your chops.

Interesting to see that bluegrass music has moved to the basement (i.e. non-music) If it meets wu=ithout fail does it also meet without frail(ing).... SORRY

It only meets without frailing when I'm not there - I'm usually the only banjo player.
