Subject: RE: BS: Help Required Bluegrass (YORK) uk From: BanjoRay Date: 20 Mar 04 - 08:25 AM Hi John - I don't know about a York bluegrass club, but an Old Time/other tunes session meets every Sunday night without fail from about 20.30 in the Golden Ball on Cromwell Street not far from Nunnery Lane and Micklegate. I get there about once a month or so. It's a bit confusing for banjo players, as they tend to change key for most tunes, even when they run a few tunes together - it's very good exercise for your chops. Cheers Ray |
