It feels like SUMMER everyone, and we have a normal Sing a Round. So let's get out all our favorite Sing a Long songs and sing a long.
Hard times cotton mill girls, Hard times cotton mill girls. We will run to the sea to the sea, we will fight what will be history, Oh my father was a blacksmith I am a blcksmiths son, Scrubbing the miners clothes scrubbing the miners clothes. Get the idea. Don't forget I am doing a Breezy Spotlight on Sunday 02/05. And Breezy may not be there. So please all turn up and sing and play, with most of      The Folkaholicks, Yippeeeeee.

Hi Martin - there's a big yellow ball in the sky - is it a comet?

Is it the Rapture?

As its a bank holiday on Monday we could go up the Barton Springs in the afternoon and have a picnic before the session and sing a few songs up there (or in the pub garden) - any takers to make sandwiches?

Don't forget after Sunday, The Spotlight Night in St Albans with most of The Folkaholicks, it's our Super Summer Sing A Round at The Bull, in Barton and the very next day it's the second best Sing A Round there is, at The Blue Anchor, in St Albans. Before all that though Thursday at Redbourn it's Colum Sands and Friday it's Sing A round Session time at Letchworth at Caffeine, 37 Station Rd. Come on. Yippeeee

And I hope you are all free on 01/07/04 for a trip to Sols Arms in Camden, and the sad date of 11/09/04 for a songwriters festival at The Windsor Arts Centre. No cos we said about it at the last meeting at Derrick's house, but I had to change it from this Friday to the 12th and I was just comfirming that it was possible. At Greenbank "where music just keeps getting better" you have to book weeks in advance, because it is so popular. We only just made it as it was.

Everybody come to Breezys without Breezy at The British Leigon in St Albans in Verulam Rd. 8.00 til 10.30 Floor Spots plus "The Folkaholicks". Then all round Cathy's for the rest of the night, Monday, come to The Bull in Barton le Clay, Sing a Round, and Tuesday The Blue Anchor in St Albans Sing a Round. Have a day off Wednesday, Thursday Redbourn Singers night at The Cricketers, and Fri/Sat/Sun St Neots Folk Festival.Come on we are all folked up.
