Years ago, Mad magazine had a poster in the back of one of their panels in a story that said "Rocky 27" or similar...

I saw Stallone interviewed on the Bill O'Reilly show on Fox News Network (the only unbiased news network in the U. S.)recently. He wants to make the movie, but the head of the studio that owns the rights refuses to do it. "Rocky" is suing the studio.

Actually a film about poor old Rocky, in the same kind of physical state as Mohammed Ali, but maybe poor and forgotten, could be a great film. Whether Stallone would be up to the kind of acting that would be needed to get that across, that is another matter entirely.

Before I saw this thread, this morning the idle thought struck me: When can we expect an action film called "I Rocky" in which Sly/Rambo goes to Baghdad and wreaks havoc on behalf of mid-America. But then I said -- NO -- and now who knows?

stallone has a script but cant find a studio to make it. but he is going to keep trying. the script is all ready
