Hi Folks. Looks like we have another bad hard drive. I have set up a temporary server with an old backup to run until I get the Primary Web server running again. Its an old backup and so forth, so everything is not going to be perfect. At least you have something. I expect to fiddle for at least 2 days to solve this problem and to set up a new server to eliminate previous unreliability issues. So, in the long run, this'll turn out to be a good thing.

Max,

I don't get on-line that much - no computer at home so it's break time at work or the local library, but I do get on to Mudcat often enough to appreciate all you (and others) do to keep the site going.

We all have our own reasons for being part of Mudcat - I've made some good friends in Oz and, like others, keep in touch with what's going on locally by picking up likely sounding threads.

Perhaps we don't acknowledge our debt or show our appreciation often enough and it needs a little deprivation to show us how much we miss things when they're gone. Guess this applies to many other areas in life too.
