Subject: RE: My Grandfather Hated the Germans From: Geoff the Duck Date: 15 Jul 04 - 08:06 PM Mind you - I'm not sure about this "our own Micca!" sounds like some sort of communal ownership! Doesn't that mean we're expected to clean out his cage and feed him etc. etc. ? Quack! GtD. |

Subject: RE: My Grandfather Hated the Germans From: Noreen Date: 16 Jul 04 - 04:58 AM It would appear that Micca can't speak for himself any more.... |

Subject: RE: My Grandfather Hated the Germans From: MudGuard Date: 16 Jul 04 - 05:06 AM The question is whether he can't speak for himself anymore or whether he is not allowed to speak for himself anymore ;-) |

Subject: RE: My Grandfather Hated the Germans From: Micca Date: 16 Jul 04 - 08:01 AM Oh, I can speak for myself, but I felt any comment of mine would be "gilding the lily" and therefore superfluous. I have however PMed Fergie, and published the First part of thr Trilogy ("We think we ought to go") in its own Lyr Add Thread. I have had the pleasure of singing all 3 parts in sequence a couple of times now and a strange experince it is too, The sum of the parts being quite differnt from the individual bits, something to do with the way the parts inform and shade each other, anyone else found this when singing a set of linked songs? |

Subject: RE: My Grandfather Hated the Germans From: Catherine Jayne Date: 16 Jul 04 - 06:22 PM If you must know Noreen, Micca was sat next to me when I was reading the thread and he told me what to post. Anyone that knows Micca knows he very much has a voice and speaks it when he sees fit. |
