MCfat / Wombat and Raggytash / Kampervan are all known to stick there hands up various puppets - I know I have some of the photos! but MCFAT is now going a step too far Sooty Sweep Soo a lion and a sheep I can just about tolerate by now he's talking about that bloody duck Orville - any other suggestions of puppets so that we can persuade him that duck is a bad idea!

That must have been bloody hard Lynne, trying to do a puppet show using REAL cows on each hand! Why not use sooty and sweep glove puppets like the rest of us? I worked in a restaurant and had my hand up many a parsons' nose....

As far as puppetry or muppetry is concerned, I've not had me hand up much but I have had my head up 5 giants, 2 ninnies, 2 dragons, a frog, an owl, a glow worm and a lion on a stick.

On the whole, it's more satisfying, but sticking just a hand is a lot easier on the back.

I did once insert a digit into a fingerbob, but I think that's just perversion.

I'll miss you lot too, but both Linda and I are still in full time employment and although I get more holiday than she does, this is a busy time for me at the university what with the A-level results out on Thursday (we got them on Sunday). Linda also has a weeks holiday with her son, daughter, and grandchildren and won't be back from Spain until Sunday night.

Still, I hope you all have a great time in "The Tap & Spile" - why not get a real sheep for Jim to put his hand up - there's plenty on the moors !
