thursday, marblorough club, hull., [off chants ave], all welcome
staarts about 9ish or wehnever we can be arsed to get there, but probly about 9pm.
i might bring some grub, abd i mite make a cake [ if i can be arsed].

i'm a qwalified baker, and good at making cakes etc, so i might bother.
[theres about a 60-70 percemt chance of an edible cake been at the matrlbourough on thursday.


[if i can't be arsed to make a cake, i might just take sume jacket spuds instead.


anyway=lets see a good few people going., like oaklet, skiplet., karen ans colin etc and people like thsat.

anyway=my mam might be going as well [if she's not doing nowt].

how about George Silver and Strollin Jonny going then?
we bin to there place, they should go to hours!

if any barton people go=i will buy them a bear, [but only 1 as i',m a bit skint.

anway=i havent got a dad anymore because he's ded, [he died of lung cancer a few yeers ago],
but my mam might go if shes not doing nowt,
and its the first annie versaey of hull flok club,
so it would be nice if loads of people went, [like all the people that went before, ] plus a few more people

so make sure you go, if your not doing nowt.

i just talked to Ted, he's not going, because he's moving his house or sometjing that day, but loads of other people are going.

John, if I ever manage to be in your area on the first Thursday, I will come to your club. Unfortunately I'm a little bit far away, like Sydney Australia.

My folk club, North By Northwest, is on the same night as yours, and we have a shanty group called the Roaring Forties on this month. Good luck with yours - hope it goes well.

WEll I would like to be there, but I cant. I wish I could, I went to the Hull Folk Club in April, and it was absolutely definitely the best folk club I've been to since Easter.

Richard-El Ted now lives in Beverley, ring his mobile, he might be able to give you a lift.
He also works in Hull, so if you ring him quickly, he might even give you a lift to Beverley on his way home!

it is very unfortunate that s6k could not make this months marlborough. his parents had booked a monday-friday in skegness so i decided i would go as well. on tuesday night i was listening to christy moore, and i thought, SHIT, marlborough is on this thursday.

so it was a shame indeed especially as it was the 1 year anniversary (or was that next month)

anyway hope you had a really nice9 time, im now going to see about borrowing Oaklets fiddle once i find south ferriby
