David Langhorne was a guitarist bodhran player and songwriter, deriving a lot of pleasure from his music.

He died last week after a long battle, and is now at peace.

His funeral is at Carleton Crematorium Thursday 2.00pm

No, he wasn't famous, just a nice guy who played for his own pleasure in the Fylde (NW UK) area. His son is very involved in Fylde Festival as committee member and chief steward.

He tragically lost a child some years ago when a doctor at the local hospital went berserk with a knife: somehow after a period of understandable distress he managed to present an incredibly positive attitude (as indeed he showed through most of his long illness).

He will be missed.
