Does anyone know the words of a parody of Tom Paxton's song which is about approaching senility?
Thanks

Can we Europeans please have a translation of the line?

"Boones Farm, Gallo, gin, [beans weed] a blowin'"

I'm not a European, but I don't quite understand the bit about "[beans weed] a blowin'," either. I know what weed is (and I suspect GUEST does as well it's marijuana), but not "beans weed."

Boone's Farm is a brand of cheap wine -- originally best known for their apple wine, a favorite among non-connosseur hippies in the late 60s.

Gallo is a major California vintner, recently cultivating an upscale image by producing some very decent wine, but they had long since established their name as a source for the cheap rotgut especially popular among alcoholic derelicts. Gallo white port in the flat half-pint bottle is probably the single most popular choice among winos on America's skid rows.

I'm sure we all know what gin is.

sue trainor is one of the gals in
the Hot Soup Trio
and one of their most amazing songs is
"wehn your house burns down you'll
have a lot less stuff and a wonderful
view of the moon" (or something like that)
