Greetings....
JOHN CONOLLY AND PETE SUMNER..San Francisco.....
Please forgive an unashamed plug for the forthcoming concert on the Balclutha...Saturday 23rd...An evening of sea music with landlubber songs thrown in for good measure...
Sponsored by the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park...

We will also be interested in hearing from anyone wanting to put on a short notice 'house concert'...or 'soireeeeeee' he he he....

John arrives on Tuesday 19th....and we will be hard at rehersals...at least polishing the mandolin and greasing the squeeze box for a couple of days...at my abode in Los Altos...
THEN.....we are all yours.....
John has written some wonderful songs in recent years....and we will be incorporating as many as we can into the set list....
We will do requests....for a small fee :-)
We have one house concert in Palo Alto on Tuesday 26th..(John's last night in the USA.)..being organised by a friend of mine...limited seats available...
John doesn't get over here very often...
So, if anyone has any ideas...please post.....

Well, we had an excellent weekend at Gainsborough Folk Festival and John was on top form! We sent him home to pack in good condition - hope he arrives with you as he left us.

Thanks for all your good wishes..and for looking after John so well...he arrives this afternoon to a very wet and windy Bay Area...our first significant rain since May....at least he'll feel at home..Brrrrrrr....
I'll make a new post regarding the Palo Alto house concert...a number of folks at the Tom Lewis gig..and at the wonderful Sea Music Festival on Saturday expressed an keen interest in coming...
BUT DON'T FORGET .....BALCLUTHA...HYDE STREET PIER...SATURDAY NIGHT...23RD OCTOBER....SEE YOUR THERE....THIS IS THE BIG ONE...
