Some years ago (probably 20) I remember hearing a song on one of Radio 2's folk programs that included a song with the above lyric. The chorus continued (...So gather up your army and be ready for the fight, The Kaiser wants the ring off your finger...).
Does anyone remember such a song?   ...and does anyone know who it was and where I might get the lyric?

Not one I've heard before personally, but it would be appropriate for this weekend as 26 of us will be gathered in Flanders, at Talbot House in Poperinghe on our 7th annual Flanders Experience outing. Lots of good company, good singing and good beer.

its called 'Flanders March' by Huw and Tony, one of their under-rated songs.

Thanks for the info. I've done a search on the web but have come up with little. One site suggested the'd done their last gig back in 2001. Is their material, (particularly the one in the title) available?
If so can any one point me in the right direction please?
