Subject: RE: BS: Wishing Everyone a Happy New Year From: freda underhill Date: 31 Dec 04 - 02:35 AM May next year is full of music and song for everyone.. ......................................................... This song of mine will wind its music around you, my child, like the fond arms of love. The song of mine will touch your forehead like a kiss of blessing. When you are alone it will sit by your side and whisper in your ear, when you are in the crowd it will fence you about with aloofness. My song will be like a pair of wings to your dreams, it will transport your heart to the verge of the unknown. It will be like the faithful star overhead when dark night is over your road. My song will sit in the pupils of your eyes, and will carry your sight into the heart of things. And when my voice is silenced in death, my song will speak in your living heart. (Rabindranath Tagore) |

Subject: RE: BS: Wishing Everyone a Happy New Year From: Georgiansilver Date: 31 Dec 04 - 04:24 AM Let 2005 be the year when something as simple as "Friendship" comes to the fore for all. A time when no-one wants war.. and peace can prevail. A time when love does not mean a brief affair with someone who is attractive. A time when polititians work altogether for the good of their countries and not the detriment of others. A time when "catters" show tolerance for even the most nauseating guests(sorry, that was a joke). A time when caring for people in the Third World becomes something less of an emergency, more of an accepted way of life. Let 2005 be a great year for Folk Music and Clubs in general. Hope you all have a great 2005. Best wishes, Mike. |

Subject: RE: BS: Wishing Everyone a Happy New Year From: JennyO Date: 31 Dec 04 - 09:18 AM May next year is full of music may nest year BE full of music Whatchoo been drinking freda??? This is the first New Years in a long time that I have not been at a festival. I'm not sorry at all. We've had a lovely evening. We drove round looking at all the Christmas lights which are all still blazing, then settled down for a snuggle to see the new year in, to the sound of fireworks and a lot of whoopin' and hollerin' from the locals. This is a very multicultural part of Sydney, and they certainly know how to party round here! There have been fireworks for hours, which reached a crescendo at midnight, enough to startle a family of coels which started screeching in a tree just outside. I can still hear parties going on all around and occasional fireworks, and it's now 1.20am on New Years Day. So happy 2005 to everyone. May you get exactly what you wish for! Jenny |
