Subject: Announce: Lincoln Folk Festival website From: GUEST,Simon Coggy Date: 05 Jan 05 - 03:50 PM I remember reading last year that some people here had had trouble finding info on the Lincoln Folk Festival. Well this year we've entered into the 90s and created a webpage to help publicise the festival! Please visit us at http://lincolnfolk.port5.com/ if you're interested. As well as containing preliminary info on this years festival (29th and 30th April 2005 in Lincoln) there's also details of our Spring 05 season of concerts. Plus, there's information on the Lincolnshire Young Folk Performer of the Year 2005 competition. Thanks for your time! |

I can't figure out why they're not working either - will look at it this weekend. |

Subject: RE: Announce: Lincoln Folk Festival website From: Big Al Whittle Date: 01 Apr 05 - 04:12 AM it all a bit sketchy. Are all the the events at the Turks Head inaccessible for disabled or who knows maybe theres a lift. one or two of the names I'm not familiar with |

Subject: RE: Announce: Lincoln Folk Festival website From: GUEST,Sooz (via the back door) Date: 01 Apr 05 - 10:31 AM No disabled access at the Turks Head I'm afraid. The Lincolnshire Life museum and Westgate School which are used for the actual festival are OK though. The Victoria which is used for sessions is a different kettle of fish. Very cramped and smoky, difficult for those with poor mobility, impossible for wheelchairs. |
