Subject: RE: BS: So, what killed the CAT this time? From: Allan C. Date: 06 Jan 05 - 12:41 PM I spoke with Max a little while ago. He said it appears to have been a software problem. He has some equipment that is so new, so snazzy that sometimes even he is stumped by some of the new problems it presents. He said something about a steep learning curve. Anyway, he seems to have circumvented the problem for now and will be spending the rest of the day poring through tech manuals, etc.. Thanks, Max for all you do! |

Subject: RE: BS: So, what killed the CAT this time? From: Mr Red Date: 07 Jan 05 - 06:57 PM GUEST,Jaze there have been many threads about cookies - the only time I had a problem was when I wiped one cookie but not the other mudcat one. If you wipe all cookies with the mudcat name on you may be able to log back in afresh. (I do it in "System Suite 4.0" because I still use old software) |

Subject: RE: BS: So, what killed the CAT this time? From: jaze Date: 07 Jan 05 - 07:43 PM I'm still able to get on thru Internet Explorer, but not Netscape. How do you wipe out a cookie? I thought they just eventually wore out. Is anyone else having problems getting on with Netscape or is it my computer? |

Subject: RE: BS: So, what killed the CAT this time? From: Nigel Parsons Date: 09 Jan 05 - 09:35 AM While it's up, an alternate entry route worth copy-pasting somewhere is: BUDDY It is the only route that lets me in at present, so those who don't have it won't read this message 'til the main access point is re-opened. But at least it's here. Nigel |

Subject: RE: BS: So, what killed the CAT this time? From: MBSLynne Date: 09 Jan 05 - 10:47 AM Oh phew! Someone else in here! Hi Megan.....it's a bit like a funfair when everyone's gone home isn't it? Spooky and too quiet..... I can see the odd (and I DO mean odd) individual wandering around on his or her own looking lost....it's probably time to gather them all together and have a party again!! Someone had better get into the Tavern and bring some booze out! |

Subject: RE: BS: So, what killed the CAT this time? From: hesperis Date: 10 Jan 05 - 01:53 PM I wish Max would keep a list of the mirrors up at the top of the site somewhere. He keeps changing them and then I don't find out about them until after the Cat's been down. |
