It's messy and stick to yer fingers, and is mostly a problem. Next time I get some, maybe I'll mail it to one of you chocoholics.. Give me cinnamon, any day. Jerry |

Subject: RE: BS: Why do we need chocolate? From: GUEST,Yurko Slobodovich Date: 17 Feb 05 - 08:45 PM You maybe think so, but is not true! In my former country, Brutopia, the government central distribution and agricultural bureau once provided public supply of coffee beans coated in dried oxblood paste mixed with anis flavoring. It was not bad. Many people ate them. Then demand fell off after the novelty worn off. Many, many mountains of these old coated beans were left over, slowly rotting in the sun. Later they were used as landfill and bulldozed into foundations of new buildings, special at big transit camp for subversives, near Bresno. Yurko |

Subject: RE: BS: Why do we need chocolate? From: PoppaGator Date: 18 Feb 05 - 05:55 PM Like most of the best things in life, chocolate is not a necessity; we don't NEED it, we're just much happier when we have it. This business about women craving chocolate so much more than men is a relatively recent development, in my experience. I do remember hearing talk that chocolate was for kids more than for adults, however. I guess some grown men don't want to admit having a taste for anything sweet and nonalcoholic. Until an illness last year damaged my throat and my saliva glands, I loved chocolate as much as any female ~ especially bitterweet (dark) chocolate. Sadly, it is now one of the many food items that I find difficult to swallow. Chocolate-and-peanut-butter, something I've always really loved, is even harder to handle. Boo hoo. |
