Subject: RE: Song honours fallen Mounties From: gnu Date: 22 Apr 05 - 05:45 AM What's on for promotion? Should I distribute this info to the local media? |

Subject: RE: Song honours fallen Mounties From: TS Date: 22 Apr 05 - 02:27 PM Brucie, Sales are even keel right now. The rush is over but we're still avg'ig 2 or 3 sales daily. I have a big gig this weekend so I will be pushing a bit. The co-writer played it on Breakfast Television for the eastern region on Monday and did an interview with "Celtic Connection" magazine out of Vancouver yesterday...might boost us a bit. gnu...where is the "local edia" located? Any and all plugs for this project are appreciated. see the links back in the thread afew |

Subject: RE: Song honours fallen Mounties From: gnu Date: 22 Apr 05 - 03:47 PM I am in Moncton, New Brunswick. My question is, essentially, should I email all the radio stations, TV stations, newspapers, whoever, in New Brunswick and advise them? IOW's, how is this being promoted? and, how can I help? |

Subject: RE: Song honours fallen Mounties From: TS Date: 22 Apr 05 - 05:00 PM GNU...Saint John is onboard. I did an interview with the Telegraph Journal andits been mentioned on the Saint John radio stations aswell. As for the other media sourcs in NB I htink my colligue in PEI may have been in touch with most of the media in the Maritimes but it can only help if you have access to and plug the Transcript and other media sources in and around Moncton. Its essentially being promoted by media and word-of-mouth. Anyone and everyone is welcome to visit http://www.atlanticwaves.ca/tribute for the information on the song and media sources can get a radio-ready version of the song at http://www.atlanticwaves.ca/radio.htm . That is the best way you can help. Support the project and pass it along to others. Thanks so much for your support! Tim. ps. Hope the Wild Cats are still doing ok out there. They iced a much better team than my WHL Warriors. |
