I know Mike Harding isn't the UK Mudcatters' favourite folk presenter but he may redeem himself somewhat next week (27th April) by having Ramblin' Jack Elliott as his studio guest.
Paul Jones wil feature US acoustic blues man Dan Phelps (I had the pleasure of hearing Dan & talking to him when he toured last year)on his blues programme on 28th April.
Both on BBC Radio 2 8pm BST.

Dan's a talented young guy. Glad to see him getting well-deserved appreciation. I'm sure he appreciates the mention here as well!

"...I thought Ramblin' Jack was dead some years ago".

No, he's still rambling. He was given a lifetime acievement award (or some other award) on the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, televised a couple of months ago. He sang "San Francisco Bay Blues".

I think it's Ramblin' Sid Rumpo who's dead & gone....

Grrr! Paul Jones featured Paddy Milner, NOT Dan Phelps as advance publicity suggested. I haven't listened to it yet, perhaps he'll explain!

DOH!
I ought to read my own threads! it's 28th when Dan Phelps is on, NOT 21st, so I haven't missed it!
I better check myself in to the Mudcat Rehab Ward of the NYCFTTS!!
