Subject: RE: Bourne (Lincs) From: GUEST Date: 19 May 05 - 10:51 AM Actually,(I know this sounds very weird) I'm a bit obsessed by Bourne and its surroundings. I often drive through it on my way to see my family in Peterborough. The odd thing is that I had no interest in it, whatsoever, when I lived in P'boro. I can't explain this obsession - but I suppose it's relatively harmless (can't imagine living there, for instance). I'm pleased to see that Delaine buses are still running. I probably won't be driving through Bourne on the 27th - otherwise I'd come to your club and inflict my singing on you. |

Subject: RE: Bourne (Lincs) From: GUEST,Dáithí Ó Geanainn Date: 20 May 05 - 04:27 AM Thanks Villan, Strollin'... Fingers crossed then! We did a short spot there a wee while ago and went down ok. We're a bit "kick-ass" as they say these days, so the diners will get their just...desserts? Looks like we might be live on BBC Radio Lincs in a couple of weeks too...you old experts'll have to give us some tips! Let us know if there's space at MR Club, Villan...we've lost track of stuff there since your move. Bets wishes for tonight's gig - have to be elsewhere meself but I'm sure with that calibre of talent it will be a winner! Dáithí |

Subject: RE: Bourne (Lincs) From: GUEST,Dáithí Ó Geanainn Date: 23 May 05 - 08:30 AM Cheers Villan - had a natter with Gaucho and all set to go, thank you. Mike, Fair enough - I suppose Bourne to be Wild was just too tempting, huh? Meanwhile... any ex-pupils of Bourne schools or just folks on their way to Peterboro' - or anyone else , very welcome this Friday May 27th 8pm onwards anyways. Singers/players welcome too - Gone2theDogs is just finishing off each half. Best wishes to all who took the trouble to post - Dáithí |

Subject: RE: Bourne (Lincs) From: GUEST,Dáithí Ó Geanainn Date: 26 May 05 - 05:12 AM ...so it's tomorrow night then, if anybody's within travelling diostance! Singers and players also welcome - slightly posh restaurant venue apparently, but we're tucked away so the gnashing of diners' teeth shouldn't be too off-putting! Slán - D |
