As any Mudfule kno* I'm not a musician but saw in a local glossy mag that a guitar shop has started up in Clapton's Ripley (believe it or not)**.
Started by guy called Ian Rhodes who has an online guitar mag. www.UKguitars.com
,and runs a monthly UK Guitars Live Showcase at Ripley Village Hall. His addy is UK Guitars, Old Smithy, High St Ripley, Surrey GU23 6AN and web addy www.musicstreet.co.uk ,tel:[phone]
Article says shop is managed by local blues guitarist, Mike Bamber,and there is an onsite luthier, Thomas Anfield.
No idea how good all this is,but folks here are often asking for places to buy so someone may want to check it out.

Ripley in Surrey was where EC was brought up.
