Hi - thanks for your mention of the lake county folk club - our web page (very new) is at http://members.xoom.com/lakefolk/ (Dang, how do you get that blue thing to happen?)
This is also the home of The Lake County Folk Festival and The Lake County Songwriting Contest. We'd appreciate links from other folk organizations and folk festivals.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to modify a page or 2 of the FVFS pages and I remembered from last months song circle that the Lake county folk club had a web site. I couldn't find it with regular searches though.

BTW did somebody modify my original post and what did I do wrong?

Well, it's a touch late but the Fall Stringalong is next month. This is the old same link.

There's a song circle at the Countryside Unitarian/Universalist Church in Palatine,IL Friday at 7:30. The Plank Road/Two Way street song circle is Saturday afternoon in Downers Grove.
