I used to have a recording of Canadian folksinger Omar Blondahl singing that song. It was an obscure 50'srecord called "Folk Songs From Here and There and Everywhere". Wish I still had it. The song is about the Frank Slide, a landslide that wiped out a town in I think SW Alberta and the child that lived was adopted and named after the event. I'd like to know it too, and the history in more detail. Denis
