I remember it differently from my schooldays (c1968)

To fight for my cunt, to fight for my cunt, to fight for my cunt-er-y.

Although it's very basic, it seems to make more sense that way as well.
i.e.
For the sake of curiosity I will become a soldier, and with two pistols will fight for my country.
as opposed to:
I will become a soldier, with two pistols. And, for the sake of curiosity will fight for my country.
