Using the ABC notation I tried an online search at Richard Robinson'e Tunebook Search site HERE . Theoretically you only need to enter a small scrap of the tune (and if a corresponding tune is in his large collection) you should be able to find a match - even if the key is different. Unfortunately Richard's software has a glitch at the moment and won't give any results for snippets of ABC notes. It's not a bad facility for dance tunes, but don''t expect too many songs to be in his collection. Regards, John
