We have lost another of our Texas treasures. How well I remember seeing A Wayne for the very first time at the old Wunche's Cafe in Spring some 25 or 26 years ago - just like yesterday. My favorite time of his shows was the last song of the last set when those few who were left would hold hands in a circle and sing that last song together. I last saw him at the Millbend Coffeehouse last year and I remember how tired he looked and just hoped he would make it through Kerrville one last time. God bless you A Wayne for all the joy and happiness you've given me and my family. Sing with angels, forever !! Les
