So there is Ifor's admission that he, like his SWP, is not a socialist. He calls for a unified state to administer capitalism in the Israel/Palestine region. Real socialists call for the 'no state' solution to war, because the state is tool of protecting and advancing the interests of the owning class, war being one means of that. Workers have no country, and socialists call on workers to fight no wars but the class war. Ifor and the SWP has more in common with the Euston Manifesto liberals than he has with socialists.
