White birds & doves & wings also appear in sea music, not part of this thread but I guess there's enough of a connection to throw these in. "If I Had The Wings Of A Gooney Bird", "Lord's Prayer" - Lord above send down a dove with wings as sharp as razors (origanially wings Tom Lewis changed it to beek), a West Indian rowing shanty that goes "white bird fly up, higher, black bird fly up to". Birds at sea was & still is considered a good sign went fish were around, ment you were close to shore (with the exception of the Albtross/Gooney Bird, which can go out to sea thousands of miles).
