BK Small guitar advice (36) RE: Small guitar advice 27 Jun 00

A lot of professionals I've seen lately are playing smaller guitars & they sound great. If you want volume, plug it in or mike it well. I was given a new D-28 as a rather small kid. It was so big it cut the circulation on my right arm & I took the lesson money & went to the movies w/it ('til caught), it's why I'm so ignorant & can't read music now.

I only started playing it after I joined the Navy at 17 & other sailors started teaching me folk songs & I was hooked for life. Now it's among my fondest posessions & I'm still crazy abt folk music & over 50; So, go for what feels good to you.

Cheers, BK
