Sorry Diane, but I am completely with Lizzie on this one. I found her post uplifting, and utterly relevant to Mudcat on more level than one. And it's a great song, one that properly conveys admiration and gratitude for the dedication and sacrifice of men like Solomon Browne. Interest to declare? Certainly. I also covered the tragedy as a reporter. Geoff (Seth's dad) is a good mate, and a bloody good reporter who actually cares about the people he suddenly, unexpectedly and often with heavy heart has to write about. That, I know, runs counter to popular demonisation of the press (sometimes deserved; witness Big Mick's well chronicled story here at Mudcat), but sometimes it needs to be said. Colin Randall Salut!
