The robins are back and the daffodils opened on Easter! Yesterday broke a local record with a temp. of 84 degress F. Old record temp for this day of the year was...78 degrees, recorded in 1991. This global climate change/early Spring thing is really throwing my planting schedule. Do any other New Englanders know if fiddleheads might be ready yet? Ours are far out in the woods and our neighbor usually beats me to 'em, but I just haven't had time to get all the way out there to check. I aim to harvest my fair share this year, if I can get them before he does! --Cuilionn
