Amen to all that. Huge hero to every kid in Ohio when I grew up, along with the rest of the Indians roster from those days that sounded like the mail call scene in some WW2 movie: "Feller" "here!", "Avila!" "here!* "Rosen"!"here!" Doby,Colavito,Hegan, Garcia, Majeski, Narleski,Mossi,Wynn, Lemon.Paige and Greenberg-we lived with them and Jimmy Dudley on the radio all summer when the summer lasted forever...
