Sir Roger de Beverley Hull - City of Culture (84* d) RE: Hull - City of Culture 20 Nov 13

At school in the 50s we Hullensians were always told that Hull was the third largest port in the country after London and Liverpool. Times have changed but any city that can boast both the Watersons and The Housemartins can't be all bad culturally. Not to mention Mick Ronson and most of the Spiders from Mars as well as Tom Courtenay singing the original version of Mrs Brown You've Got a Lovely Daughter.
