A few recent benchmark tests suggests it's no longer faster than Firefox. But there are certainly quite a few features of Firefox that most people won't use - like the development tools. I see he's just thrown the crash reporter overboard which seems a bit short sighted. Still, speed isn't everything, in fact unless you've got an old and feeble computer it hardly matters. I guess a lot of users really just prefer the old Firefox look. I mostly use Firefox on an Android tablet these days. I'll use this thread to mention that I recently added my mudcat quoting bookmarklet on my Mudcat Tools page. I use these tools in Firefox, and they also work in Chrome. But the quoting bookmarklet works in IE 11 - which surprised me a bit. They usually don't.
