Well, I used to teach the guitar, and I was often disappointed at pupils lack of passion! I love those pupils who would ask lots of questions, and who would get excited at the prospect of tackling a new piece of music. Of course, it's part of the role of a teacher to try to instill passion in a pupil. But, with many pupils - for me - it was an exercise in frustration.
