I am very fond of this song and was checking this thread for any stories I may not know of it. Ah but it is a discography as I now see it plainly says. Very well, I recorded this on my Ladies' Choice CD with 12-string guitar, some tin whistle and John Phillips wrapping it up with uilleann pipes. While recording some starlings took up a racket outside and I jumped up and flung open the window of the studio and we caught them adding their chorale to the ending. Here is a clip of the recording.
