That it keeps getting deleted from the internet is not at all surprising. The caveats listed by cnd regarding reluctance to "share" this "song" are reason enough for closing this attempt at shit stirring down. Cannot see the "historical importance" in it apart from showing those who sing it in a very poor light. As cnd states it is:

- extremely tasteless;
- not clever;
- not well written;
- not well sung.

Talking of Historical interest in the Republic of Ireland the "Nineteenth Amendment of the Constitution Act 1998" which passed into Law in the Republic on 3rd June 1998 changed Articles 2 and 3 of the Constitution from an irredentist claim on the whole island of Ireland to an aspiration towards creating a united Ireland by peaceful means, "with the consent of a majority of the people, democratically expressed, in both jurisdictions in the island".

This came into effect as the result of a referendum in the Republic in which 94.39% of those who turned out to vote voted for the change, i.e. for the creation of a united Ireland by peaceful means - no place for the gun, bomb, or bullet in Irish politics.
