Sorry, I despise all Word programs. Gimme Quark; it is publication and print ready. All kinds of capabilities that are easy to master. For graphics, it's Adobe, Illustrator (7.0 or higher) and Photoshop. All these are fairly expensive, but nothing else touches them, IMHO. On the other hand, Pagemaker inventors are scheduled to be the first against the wall when the revolution comes. But, if I'm writing a song, I'm using my guitar, probably; this makes paper easier to reach than the keyboard... Sarah
