So sorry to hear this. I first met Ted at the Limbrick sessions, having heard his songs for some years before. I have two of his books about his adventures, the Sahara dessert one and the Iceland crossing one. The last that I had heard was that he was cheerful and still mobile despite his disabillities. He has brought so many people pleasure through his songs. I have heard that on his last day at work he travelled from bottom of the deepest pit in England to the top of its highest peak. Robin
