I would be very wary of trusting public transport late in the evening at anywhere outside of London.
The franchisees are a bunch of crooks who make glowing promises to the government and then renege by cherrypicking on these once the franchises are awarded.
In our area for example we used to have very good bus services - sadly no more - most finishing late afternoon.

By clicking on the Subject, you will also go to the thread as if you selected it from the original Forum page, but also go directly to that particular message.
By clicking on the Date (Posted), you will dig out every message posted that day.
