I just heard the news of Julia’s passing from Keith Kendrick at a Party last Saturday. I was very sad to hear it. I had contact with Julia during my 6 years as Secretary of The topic Folk Club when arranging bookings for Nic at the club. She was always a pleasure to deal with and had a good sense of humour, I would have liked to have met her face to face. After Nic’s accident which was a couple of weeks after he had played our club, I would have been at that gig had it not clashed with our club. When Julia started Molly Music I had contact again when obtaining records especially the Halliard releases. She was also very good at passing on information on the latest that Nic Was involved with. I had been getting round to contacting her again re some past recordings when Keith dropped the news on me. It is very sad her passing and my condolences go to Nic, Helen and Joe at this very sad time. Trevor Charnock
