Frank Sherman, the other entertainer on the program, sang several character songs.
Chief among them was "Sarah of the Shoe Shine Shop." Down in the yard they are still
singing that song.

This reference would place "Sarah Sarah Sitting in a Shoe Shine Shop" a year after the publishing of "Ja-da"
and five years before the copyrighted 1924 "Sarah Sarah" song.
