I should admit that it's not my transcription in the sense that I got it from a recording. In all cases where the song is in the Copper Family Song Book - as here - I have merely copied the words from the book. It was quite a different story with Martin Carthy. None of his albums include printed lyrics, and in some cases it was quite a challenge to get the words right. There are still question marks in some of the pages. The Copper Family Song Book is very beautiful, by the way. All the transcriptions (of the tunes) are in Bob Copper's own hand. A fine publication. Garry Gillard
