Mark, I'll quite happily stay there all day and all night if people want it to continue - I always prefer singarounds to concerts. And PP, singers often refer to singarounds as sessions (I do myself) - the term is not exclusive to musicians. And I enjoy a singaround where there are musicians as well as singers, who do their bit at leading a piece in turn. Not only that, but some (admittedly not all) singers, particularly those who accompany themselves, will appreciate and enjoy a little extra backing from a fiddle, mandolin, harmonica, or whatever. Some of us are also inclined to include an "instrumental break" in the middle of a song if there are musicians there who will oblige. So please feel free to bring your instrument(s) to the singaround - you will be very welcome.
